On Friday, January 20, Kenya’s Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu unveiled the results of the KCSE 2022 examination at Mtihani House. A total of 881,416 students sat for the exam, with 443,644 being male and 437,772 being female.
One of the major changes made this year is the departure from the tradition of naming the top performers in the KCSE examination. Instead, the Education Cabinet Secretary only presented the grade distribution of the total candidates .
